Join YPTC and special guest Mark Fiala as we highlight strategies for building collaboration between your Human Resources and Finance functions. We’ll hear insights from both viewpoints as we discuss workforce management best practices and share strategies for boosting employee engagement in today’s challenging work environment.
Who Should Attend: Anyone involved in the nonprofit sector, including nonprofit management, human resource team members, finance team members, board members (or potential board members), volunteers, and donors.

Kasey Henry

Kasey Henry is the Employee Experience Manager at Your Part-Time Controller, LLC (YPTC). Kasey earned her bachelor’s degree in accounting from Texas A&M University and spent 20+ years as an auditor with public accounting firms in Texas, Maryland, and Louisiana, with an emphasis on nonprofit organizations. Currently, Kasey’s passion for supporting her colleagues and creating spaces that allow for a sense of belonging and authenticity at work has led her to a new role with an internal focus as part of YPTC’s Human Resources Department, where she leverages both her collaboration and accounting skills. She also has volunteered with and served on the boards of numerous non-profit organizations, which has provided her with unique insight into the challenges non-profit organizations face beyond the financial scope. Kasey is a frequent presenter at YPTC Orientation and national meetings and has presented at the United Way of Greater Houston Nonprofit Connection Series.
Mark Fiala

Mark Fiala brings nearly 30 years of strategic human resources leadership and human resources consulting experience to provide you with solutions to your organization’s needs in talent management. As a member of senior management himself, Mark has led the Human Resources functions in both privately-held and public companies with revenues exceeding $500 million. Mark understands your needs and can provide solutions to help you achieve your organization’s goals. Prior to Organizational Architecture, Mark held senior human resources positions in the retail, specialty chemical and mortgage industries. Additionally, he has experience in the insurance and health care industries. He holds the designations of Certified Employee Benefits Specialist and Senior Professional in Human Resources. Mark earned his MBA from The Ohio State University. Mark served in the United States Navy as an intelligence officer.
