On May 11th, 2016, GuideStar launched a new Nonprofit Profile option called GuideStar Platinum. With this new plan, nonprofits can pick and choose the metrics that they wish to be measured by. No longer will a nonprofit’s financial standing affect their discoverability, as now they can use statistics that actually matter to their cause when developing their profile and benefactors can sort them using those same metrics.

Within the first 48 hours of its launch, over 500 nonprofit organizations adopted the new program. Read more about it here.
