- Northwell Health’s COVID-19 Emergency Fund: looking for donations to allow their clinical teams to remain at the forefront of care for people in the community.
- Long Island Cares: Taking donations to help support Long Island Residents with critical food and resources during this emergency
- Island Harvest: Provides food to those who depended upon Island Harvest before the COVID-19 crisis, and to respond to the growing need to put food on the table for those struggling with hunger now.
- United Way of Long Island: Helps alleviate disruptions to family life. Contributions will help individuals and families cope with the challenges they face due to the loss of income.
- Family Service League: providing food, housing, and essentials for over 600 Long Island Children and adults in their homeless shelters.
- Guide Dog Foundation / America’s VetDogs: Offers guide and service dogs to people with special needs and veterans. They had to minimize their campus to follow social distancing guidelines, so they are working to provide temporary foster homes for their puppies and dogs. They are heavily in need of donations so that dogs in foster homes could have food, water, shelter, and around-the-clock care.
- VIBS: Offering counseling, advocacy, legal services, community education, and outreach remotely to assist victims of sexual assault. Runs a 24/7 crisis hotline for victims.
- Hope for Youth: Offering services for children, youth and families with emergency residential and clinical/preventative services. Continuing to care for youth in their residential programs and keep them safe. Requesting donations of masks, gloves, sanitizers, diapers, and more.
- Girls Inc.: Holding webinars and online activities for all girls on Long Island to stay connected and supported with facilitators and other girls.
- Spirit of Huntington Art Center: Bringing positivity into the community by offering online art classes for all ages.
- Special Olympics New York: Offering their organization’s athletes and coaches virtual programming.
- Pal-O-Mine Equestrian: Bringing the barn to you via Facebook Live every Wednesday beginning at 2pm and through virtual Equine Science classes.
