August 8, 2024 – Bohemia, NY – Cerini & Associates, LLP, a full-service accounting firm renowned for its value-added ideas and integrity, is excited to announce the addition of three talented professionals to our team. These new hires bolster our firm’s capabilities, bringing our staff to over 80 employees.

Erin Teta – Director of Internal Audit – Erin joins Cerini & Associates as a Director in our internal audit department. With over 15 years of experience in Internal Audit, SOX compliance, and Claims Auditing, Erin has worked with school districts, villages, nonprofit organizations, telecommunications, and higher education. Her expertise will strengthen the Firm’s internal audit and educational services.

Heather Lospenuso – Supervisor on our Outsourced Accounting Team – Heather Lospenuso has 20 years in the accounting industry, including 7 years in public accounting with a national firm and 13 years in the private sector. She brings the knowledge of the responsibilities of a Controller to the Accounting Assistance team.

Jacqueline Manzanares – Senior Accountant on our Outsourced Accounting Team – Jacqueline Manzanares, serves on several boards and is QBO Certified, specializing in Tax Preparation and Filing, Tax Planning, Consulting, and Financial Analysis.

Matt Koppenhofer – Senior Accountant on our Education Team – Matt Koppenhofer joins our team with over 3 years of experience in providing audits, reviews, and compilation services. His focus spans across nonprofits, employee benefit plans, construction, and manufacturing clients.

Katarina Mitrovic – Senior Accountant on our Education Team – Katarina Mitrovic joins our team with over 4 years of experience, she works with special education, school districts, and nonprofits, bringing a background in private commercial audit to her role.

Asanya Rodriquez, MBA – Senior Accountant on our Nonprofit Team – Asanya Rodriquez, a Senior Accountant, brings over 3 years of experience in External Auditing, including financial statement audits, reviews, compilations, and tax preparation, with a background in auditing private clubs, nonprofit organizations, and membership organizations.
