SBA Provides More Information & Safe Harbor on Economic Uncertainty
On May 13, 2020, the SBA Updated the PPP Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) again to provide additional guidance on the “economic uncertainty” good-faith certification made by borrowers of PPP Loans. The new guidance is generally borrower-friendly and was needed prior to the May 14, 2020 deadline to return loans that borrowers felt they were unable to certify the need in good-faith.
