Important Update! The Office of the Medicaid Inspector General (OMIG) has updated its Self-Disclosure Program to offer two reporting pathways for Medicaid entities to address overpaid funds. Alongside the existing Full Self-Disclosure Process, a new Abbreviated Self-Disclosure Process has been introduced for reporting routine or transactional errors that have been rectified. OMIG expects initial reports to begin in September, with the first monthly reporting scheduled for October 5th. More details can be found in Self-Disclosure Program Requirements Guidance Document and at Self-Disclosure | Office of the Medicaid Inspector General.
