The deadline to request a rate correction from the New York State Department of Health (DOH) is February 15, 2016 for organizations that received their new rates as of November 16, 2015. If there are errors in the DOH’s rate calculation that results in a change of more than $5,000 to your annual reimbursement for your Day Habilitation, Residential Habilitation, Respite, and Prevocational Services programs based on OPWDD’s Rate Rationalization, you can request a rate correction within 90 days of receiving your new rate or 90 days of the first day in the rate period, whichever is later.
